The Elim Church has served the town of Tamworth for just over 100 years with a passion that is motivated by the faith of its members. We are a thriving church community comprising both young and old and drawn from all walks of life.

Our mission is: “To share the love of Christ with our community in word and deed”

During the last 17 years or so, our church has gone through an exciting transformation and has reached out beyond its walls and has touched the lives of hundreds of people in our community. During this time the church has completed two large-scale building projects and has set up its own charitable company (The Manna House) which employs more than 20 people.

Our church leadership believed that it was time to ‘break out’ and redouble our efforts to truly serve Jesus through serving our community, in actions as well as in words – to become a church 7 days of the week and not just a Sunday congregation of hymn singers and sermon tasters.
